From the chairman of CISDI Group
To our customers and partners around the world
On behalf of CISDI Group in China, as the New Year gets underway I would like to extend our best wishes for a peaceful and safe 2021 to you and your families.
During 2020 the pandemic kept us apart and posed great challenges. I am moved by the care, respect and support you have given to our overseas projects and in particular, to our staff working on those sites.
All CISDI staff in China and beyond have remained safe and healthy through 2020. I give you my reassurance that during 2021 we will continue to work with great diligence and carefully planned safety modifications.
In South East Asia we have risen to the challenges posed and successfully hit our contract and revenue targets. Our green, low-carbon and intelligent businesses saw remarkable breakthroughs as a result of our continual advancements and the recovery of the Chinese market and economy.
Our UK company, which centralises CISDI’s overseas operations, has been a consistent and ever-stronger supporter during video-conferences with our customers and partners, and in the follow-up of new and ongoing projects in the UK and overseas.
Their unremitting efforts and close collaboration with CISDI HQ have ensured our marketing and implementation teams have been able to fulfil all schedules and meet all quality controls.
Your trust and support is a source of enduring hope in difficult times. I believe that indomitable spirit and courageous actions will bring us a healing power and, above all, hope for a happier, fruitful 2021.
Xuewen Xiao
Chairman
CISDI Group
From John Lester and CISDI UK
2020 has been the very worst of years for many across the globe. Our hearts go out to those who have suffered personal tragedy, and to the businesses of our customers, suppliers, and partners which have been affected during the pandemic.
Throughout this terrible time, we know the work of a steelworker has never stopped and our thoughts are with those who have to continue to work in difficult conditions caused by the virus.
We greatly appreciate the time and effort our customers, suppliers, partners, friends and colleagues across the globe have given to the team in the UK and look forward to continuing and strengthening friendships and supporting each other throughout 2021.
We will take every opportunity to restore and grow our business and at the same time, grow and add value to the businesses of our customers.
We look forward to a safe and prosperous 2021.
From Robert Smith and CISDI USA
As we head into the new year of 2021, it is important to take the time and extend our appreciation for our clients and customers as CISDI USA has been in support of their businesses and operations.
CISDI USA remains centered and focused on Consulting Services which includes engineering, conceptual, and feasibility studies. The company also concentrating our sales efforts towards our clients for Replacement Parts, Equipment Upgrades, and Modernizations of the customer’s existing mill equipment. These three focused business areas will be our main sales effort and focus for the fiscal year 2021.
We also look to further our cooperation with our valued partners in the Iron & Steel Industry. CISDI USA has moved towards a more seamless alignment with Rockwell Automation; leveraging the CISDI Group’s dominance for the Integrated Steel production and our current market presence elevation into the “mini-mill” steel production route. These concentrated efforts with our Partners and our expanded market presence in the “DUAL” steel production route will support CISDI USA’s effort in increasing the order intake for the company and the Group in 2021.
As in 2020, CISDI USA looks to expand our market presence through continued alliance with our customers and clients, centering CISDI Group’s technical expertise specifically for the North American market and its specific customer requirements.
The company remains dedicated to full flexibility and collaboration to our clients to increase CISDI’s market position and commitment within the North American market.
From Hatee Ram Pattanayak and CISDI India
This pandemic year 2020 witnessed deferment of major investments in the steel sector in India. CISDI-India however continued its services & communication with JSW, Tata Steel & Aarti Steels for ongoing projects and with all esteemed customers for upcoming projects. Thanks to JSW & Tata Steel for entrusting with some small new orders during this year.
We at CISDI have plans & strategies in place and are stronger today to meet customer aspirations. CISDI’s well-knit team of engineering professionals & experts with experience packed simulation techniques have been the core strength to serve as an optimized solution provider to the iron & steel industry.
In 2021, as India limps back to resumption of economic activities, CISDI would gracefully welcome enquiries for process plants related to Greenfield & Brownfield projects for steel capacity expansion to 300 mtpa, thus additional investment of around 156 billion USD by 2030-31 in India. CISDI-India, in sync with CISDI Group, is committed to make techno-commercially competitive offers in each case to bag opportunities as much as possible widening the footprint of CISDI technology in India.
Based in Mumbai, CISDI-India shall as well be promoting cooperation with local agencies for products & services to be competitive & eventually grow catering to customer needs. Thanks for your support & cooperation, 'Happy New Year 2021'.
