CISDI Equipment Co has won a mechano-electric package equipment order from Xinhui Metallurgy Co.

Xinhui operates under New Wu’an Steel in China’s Hebei Province.

The supply is for new installations at an existing high-speed wire-rod rolling line, which will expand its product specifications.

CISDI’s HMBC™ high-speed heavy-duty wire-rod reducing and sizing mill, post-rolling temperature controller, large-inclination laying head and relevant electric control and hydraulic systems will enable the line to produce specifications to a diameter range of 5.5 to 24mm.

The new products will mainly be quality carbon structural and cold heading steels and capacity has been reserved for the production of higher grade steels.

The HMBC™ features an individual drive and patented, state-of-the-art tech which ensures controlled rolling and cooling, critical to defining the product’s performance and quality.

It has filled a gap in China, bringing its high-speed wire-rod rolling’s dimensional range and precision to world-class levels.

From its research and development, front-end design and sample manufacturing to hot commissioning, CISDI devoted six years to its invention and 25 patents have been awarded.
