Its breakthrough developments create flexible, optimal production, solving traditional rolling speed and product precision bottlenecks.

200 such rolling mills have been supplied to more than 30 rolling lines around the world.

The first application of CISDI’s modular finishing mill

In 2021, CISDI’s first CDMC modular finishing mill went operational at Pangang Changcheng Special Steel in China’s Sichuan Province.

It is achieving outstanding low-vibration, stable production - a peak vibration of only 0.7mm/s occurs during normal production.

This project is now a role model for the transformation of an original centralised drive to separate modular mill at the Finishing Mill rolling area, which will create a high-grade special steels rolling line, the first of its kind in China.

Chinese-made reducing and sizing mills achieving speed records

Two SRSCD modular reducing mills went operational at Jianlong Group Ningxia in 2021.

These unique CISDI products enable Jianlong’s high-speed wire-rod rolling line to operate at a speed of 105m/s when producing rebar in a diameter of 6mm - a record for the plant and a 25 per cent increase on the old line’s speed.
